Rare Antique Thomas Addison Silver and 49 similar items

So another recent sale listed a very similar Addison as sterling but I cannot find a mark on this pencil that proves it (nor was there a mark on the other pencil based on photos). That one sold for twice what I am listing this one for because this one appears to be missing a small piece near the end. See photo circled. It is marked Addison and also has the initials of V and S at the top. Not sure if those were someone?s initials or something else. I am selling this ? as is? with no returns because of the missing piece - or what I believe to be missing. There is no lead in it right now and I will consider this a project for someone. But a cool and rare and old ( circa 1900s or earlier)collectible nonetheless. Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer. I have not polished the pen as I prefer to leave it with any patina. Will ship USPS first class with tracking to winning buyer. I may require a signature confirmation to protect both buyer and seller. That will be purchased at my cost.
