This is a Woody Crumbo (1912-1989) silk screen feather dancer art print. The silk screen is in good condition as displayed in the photo gallery. It is sealed in it original frame it comes with nice heavy double matting . It will also include the backing board which has some information about The Buffalo Dance. Frame measure 20 by 28 inches. About the Artist: ?Woody? Crumbo was born Woodrow Wilson Crumbo on January 21, 1912 in Lexington, Oklahoma. His background spans several tribes of Indians. He was born of the Potawatomi Tribe and lived with a Creek family as a boy. His early schooling was at a Government Indian School in Chilocco, Oklahoma. Crumbo was widely known for his etching, silk screens and paintings. He is represented by six large murals in the new Department of Interior Building, Washington, DC., about 175 paintings in the Gilcrease Museum's permanent collection, Tulsa, Oklahoma and in other public building as well as many museums and private collections throughout the United States. In a period of six years he won 14 first place awards plus six scholarships. In 1945 he was awarded the coveted Julius Roswenwald fellowship.
