Item description
A brooch from the Victorian era crafted from solid sterling silver and sapphires.
This silver is not marked but is tested for silver and the metalwork has hand chased etching like that of rays of light and it also has etching of leaves, the white metal has tarnish and patina but still shines and both blend together beautifully.
There are three gems mounted, one Ceylon sapphire that is perfect cornflower blue and two, Ceylon rubies with top lipstick reds, the sapphires are naturaly sapphires.
