When using our canes, avoid the following: forcefully swinging the cane back and forth in the air, this may cause the opposing forces to break the cane near the handle. Striking anything with more than a few inches from the tip of the cane, this may cause the inertia to break the tip of the cane off. Rattan canes require finesse rather than strength to use them properly. This rule applies to all rattan canes, but especially to thin and long rattan canes.
