It is worth noting that Ezra Levant forecast gloom and doom when he wrote this book back in 2002. First of all, Paul Martin is NOT the Prime Minister, thanks be to Allah, and Jean Chretien seems to have disappeared from public view, again, thanks be to whichever deity one tithes to. Second of all, he forecast an era of gasoline costing $1.10 a litre; he was way off on this projection, at the time of this review, May 2007, petrol is $1.28 a litre here in the Lower Mainland Vancouver region. Yet, consumers are still buying record numbers of high powered SUVs, Beemers, Benz's, and the latest marketing trend, the so called Cross Overs. It seems that the "ONE WORLD" would be tyrants such as Maurice Strong, David Suzuki, and Al Gore will have to try just a bit harder in their bid to force us into becoming MAOist pyjama wearing bicycle commuters. It is heartening to note that while the mainstream media is continuing to foist the idea that Global Warming is caused by us humans, the truth is now readily available to anyone who wants to find out what is really happening. We consumers are a savvy lot; once more of us become aware that Kyoto is merely another socialist tax grab, any politician who advocates it's implementation will not be elected, and will have to find a real job like the rest of us.
