Item description
What a beautiful and intricately made silver spoon! It has the Dutch symbol for sterling silver which we featured in the last picture above. It must have taken a lot of craftsmanship to smelt this and get such fine details. On the top you have a man carrying a yoke with two pails of water, dressed in a winter hat, coat, and boots. The stem features a twisted and looped design that goes down to a tiny face at the base, where it connects to the bowl. Overall, it's a very interesting design that really speaks of Old World craftsmanship.
