A hooded killer is bumping off all the kids who were involved in the death of Jamie's little sister years earlier. The murderer kills people during 12-inch versions of disco songs at the dance! Jamie dances like John Travolta in 'Saturday Night Fever'! A head gets cut off and rolls on the dance floor! Part of the plot is stolen from 'Carrie'! Leslie Nielsen plays her dad. David Cronenberg fans should watch for Robert Silverman ('Scanners', 'Brood') as a weird janitor. HELLO, MARY LOU: Prom Night 2 is much better than the original, and its not even a real sequel. The "30 years later" revenge plot has Wendy Lyon possessed by Mary Lou (Lisa Schrage). There are lots of clever FX and nods to other horror movies: "It's Linda Blairsville!" is a memorable quote. Michael Ironside is the school principal. Prom Night 3 is not included in this set. PROM NIGHT 4: Deliver Us from Evil: (full screen?) A killer monk is kept in a monestary prison cell starting in 1957. In 1991 he escapes, looking the same with a beard and ponytail. Renewing his vow to slay as many sinful teens as he can, Father Jonas resumes his blood-spilling ways when he discovers two reckless couples partying in a former remote monestary on prom night. Characters walk on glass barefoot and are crucified, and there's a shower-sex scene. This sequel is by the director of 'Quiet Cool'.
