Item description
From National Geographic Society, this is a vintage 1962 hardcover book, Men, Ships and the Sea by Capt. Alan Villiers. It is a volume in their "Story of Man" library. The book traces the development of ships and battles fought at sea. It contains 442 illustrations (260 in full color) and 27 maps. Dust jacket shows wear and has a couple of small tears; the book itself is in excellent condition, pages very clean and binding is good. Asking $4.00 obo.
