This copy has been inscribed and SIGNED by the author to Paul [Bartel].
We acquired quite a few books from the library of the late Paul Bartel.
Paul Bartel (1938-2000) was an American actor, writer and director. Bartel was perhaps most known for his 1982 hit Eating Raoul, which he wrote, starred in and directed.
The fifth book in the Isaac Sidel series that features the New York police commissioner at war with the Mayor, the Cardinal, the FBI, and members of the Christy Mathewson Club, a group of antiquarian baseball addicts with an odd interest in crime.
