Original gilt-stamped blue
cloth with decoration in the blind. Tiny speck of stain to the page
fore-edges, upper corner were previously folded to several pages, a few
marginal spots of stain, tiny speck of white stain to the lower portion
of the rear cover, and a small dented indentation to the upper shelf
edges, else a very good copy; lacking the dust jacket.
Relatively scarce
early Crime novel by the prolific English author of detective and
fantasy fiction.
A falsely accused man breaks out of prison intent on
proving his innocence sets about to clear his name with the help of
friends and some shady characters.
This novel was first published in the
U.K. as MR. LYNDON AT LIBERTY.
