Launched in 1973, Farouche is one of these timeless examples, a fragrance with a bright aromatic profile of floral, green and woody notes. The top notes open the blend with sweet refreshing mandarin orange, the warm green essence of galbanum, soft peach, and cozy bergamot and the distinct lemony aroma of aldehydes. The heart combines a floral cast of carnation, honeysuckle, iris, lily, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, rose and geranium with the rich spiciness of cardamom and the herbal tones of clary sage. Finally, base notes of sandalwood, oakmoss, amber, vetiver and musk offer solid support to this multilayered fragrance.
