How do i delete free shipping to the us and add $8.50 shipping costs to the us?

I'm selling from Canada, therefore I cannot give free shipping to the US. I do want to sell to US customers and the regular shipping cost is $8.50 depending on the weight and size of the package. How do I change the shipping settings...it seems ...

Why when it imports listings from ebay does it default to best offer. If I wanted best offer I would put it in my ebay listing. It's a pain in the butt to have to edit the listing all the time.

Going through their samples of fees layout - i do not understand You sell a $2 item. Although $2 x 3.5% = $0.07 you still owe $0.50 as that is the minimum on any item. why would they charge .50 per item sold when it does not belong to them? ...
