3 different prices shown and then you can only charge what bon deems allowable. shipping is high everywhere and I personally can not ship anything under the current rules of shipping here

Use Paypal or Pirateship.

VeronicaBooksAndArt says: April 04, 2021

So long as what Bonz charges is more than what Paypal does, you’re good.

ccmom says: April 04, 2021

You can use calc or flat rate. Bonz gives a $10 allowance..ie if the shipping is $12

ccmom says: April 04, 2021

Item=$20+$12 shipping for everywhere else the fvf will be on $32. With the $10 allowance on bonz..Your fvf fee will be on $22.

CindyBear says: April 04, 2021

Under calc shipping shows 3 different prices for the different zones…or do you mean the 3/4 different options..ie media, priority, express, or first class…specify so that someone could help

Atomicdiner says: April 05, 2021

Bonz is really the most generious with the up to first $10 allowance, not charging fees. I use Paypal to gen labels and port Conf# back to Bonz Manually. I do wish they offered calculated Parcel shiping instead of just Priority though. And I still cant master combined ship since my items vary

VeronicaBooksAndArt says: April 05, 2021

Bonz can neither discount USPS Parcel Select nor offer in-store-only USPS Retail Ground. There’s calculated UPS Ground.

Atomicdiner says: April 06, 2021

Im not asking for a discount on USPS Parcel Select calc rate, just to offer it for to the cust for a cheaper alternative off Priority to save em some $$$. I dont have a UPS acct so I dont use them.

VeronicaBooksAndArt says: April 06, 2021

You have to have Paypal – it’s required here. Paypal offers discounted UPS rates.

VeronicaBooksAndArt says: April 06, 2021

Do you buy shipping labels here?

VeronicaBooksAndArt says: April 06, 2021

You want whatever service offers the lowest cost to ship; otherwise, you leave money with the carrier.

Atomicdiner says: April 07, 2021

I dont buy labels here, I use Paypal. Used it once for UPS on Ebay and took it in and they told me Paypal puts incorrect postage on and I needed to pay a few bucks more to ship it. No more UPS for me and it ws not a big box either, just something USPS would not ship (old Co2 Fire Extinguisher)

To calculate worst case net [URL removed]

Price + Worst Case Bonz Ship – ( Bonz Fees + Paypal Fees + Worst Case Paypal Ship + ( item cost ) ).

In other words, forget there’s three prices. Use the highest in your calculation.

Sewbuzyb,

Yes, I understand what you’re saying. It’s too limited with only the 3 location options, when USPS zips go to 8 different zones.

I frequently review what shows up on the Bonanza listings and make adjustments to the weight of the item to get the pricing to come out “about right”. It’s especially challenging on larger items with dimensional weight to consider BEFORE you even know where the item will be shipped! I know.. just try to adjust the weight on your items and that will make it a little closer to what you need.

Also, add a blurb to your listings about this. It will help buyers who question the amount they are seeing for shipping… something [URL removed] “Please contact seller with your zip code, to determine shipping amount as the shipping calculator is not always accurate.”

Then you can adjust the invoice before the buyer pays. I’ve had to do this several times, but it’s a solution better than NO SALE!
