I’ve had four sales, and one was my niece. I am very confused. What am I doing wrong. I am set to Gold booth, 9% and my webstore broadcaster is on.

There’s hardly any sales for indie sellers on EVERY platform.
[URL removed] Too much competition.
20 years ago, one could sell anything, anywhere. SO few sellers and so many buyers.
Now there’s way too many sellers & selling platforms for the number of buyers. We’ve flooded the market.
One use to be able to be a small seller on E-Bay and make enough to quit their job.
Now, there’s not even enough money for the pocket.

I’ve been here for over a year and have only had 10 sales. I just started posting on another site two days ago and have already made a sale there. I am going to put a lot of my items on the other site, but keep this one open as well. Some of my items are not a good match for the other place. Sales are VERY slow here, but, the community is so fantastic that I will not close my shop.

I’ve been selling on Bonanza for a little over a year. I am a gold booth and set at 9%. I started out really slow, but now, I sell a good amount. of course it fluctuates but I don’t have another job…. granted my husband pays the rent but I pay all the other bills. :)

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
