Why should I use Bundle listing ? What is the use of it?

As far as I can tell a bundle listing is when items that are sold separately as individual listings with indivdual prices, can also be sold together (therefore making a bundle or a “lot”)…if you purchase all of the items that could be considered in that ‘bundle’ then it will be for a single price instead of several individual prices..
I may be wrong, since this is only what I can gather from bits of information..
Example
Sheets…$30.00
Pillow Cases…$12.00
Pillow shams….$18.00
Comforter…$55.00
Separately this would be $115.00..
however, you can offer your buyers the option of all of the items (a bundle), in a the single listing instead having to add each item to the cart…
However, as to how to set it up, I have no idea…it would be nice if there were an explanation somewhere in the help pages…
I do have a few things that could be purchased together as a set but when I put Yes in the bundle trait..there does not appear to be anywhere to add the other item…unless I choose the Many Bundles option then I am given the option to list the other item…
And also hesitant to do it, because do not know if the item is then removed if someone chooses to purchase “both” items…
There really does need to be a help section on how it works

I believe a bundle listing is when you have other items included in the purchase price, in addition to the main item for which the UPC is listed. So for example, you might list a dress that has a UPC code from the manufacturer which you include in your listing, and you also might include a scarf and a belt together with the dress in the same listing – so you are selling it as a bundle.

A “bundle” listing [URL removed] A bundle is a collection of products which are sold together for a single price.
Like a BBQ and a set of BBQ tools.
Something that you can also sell by itself.

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
