I’m trying to add new items, and the ring size trait is missing so I can’t set up variations. I can duplicate from another listing and edit it but when I do that I can’t publish to Ebay because it tells me that my sku variations must be unique… well, they are… there is nothing wrong with my duplicated and edited items… they just won’t publish to Ebay and I can’t create them from scratch because the system won’t let me add ring sizes… anyone have any ideas of what’s going on or what I can try?

I’ve sort of found the answer… it doesn’t fix the immediate problem which is that the ring size trait is missing when doing a new listing from scratch for the category of Jewelry&Watches>FashionJewelry>Rings however this is a [URL removed]
-Duplicate an item that has the exact same sizes as what you are getting ready to list and then just edit the duplicated listing.
OR
-Duplicate an item that has at least one of the sizes that you are creating a listing for. Then delete all sizes, but leave the size dropdown as “Many ring sizes”. Save the listing, then view your booth, and view the listing. Scroll down to the item details and verify that only one size is shown and make sure it is one of the sizes you have. Then go back and edit the item to add the rest of the available sizes. View the item again to make sure only the available sizes are shown. At this point you should be able to publish to ebay with no problems.
There seems to be a glitch when duplicating an item with size variations, it is keeping the sizes you delete as part of the item details even though they are not included when editing the item or shown in the size dropdown on the item page, but they are shown in the item details… for example the dropdown might say choose from 5, 6, or 7 and the item details would say that sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are available… this is definitely a bug in their system. I had to play with this a bit to get it to only show the available sizes in both the dropdown and the item details listings that is above my description of the item… Once I got the sizes synced in both places I had no trouble publishing to ebay.
This is definitely a bug in the system that they need to fix, but for now, this is a work around…
They need to fix this ASAP… new listings need to have the item trait “Ring Size” available where applicable…

You can suggest a trait for any category….
Read about it here
https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/general/trait_suggestion
and here is the form to fill out
https://www.bonanza.com/item_trait_suggestions/choose_category_form
I have never had any problem getting a trait added that needed to be there for a category…
in the meantime you will have to make separate listings for each size to get individual sku or drop the sku for the listings
it also appears that imported items do have the ring size trait….so the option is available….though I do not know why it does not show in traits when making new listings

I am having the same issues adding
Books
Records
Cassettes
I don’t have the option to add the author, or publisher in books (BIG REQUIREMENT for Google
As for cassettes or records the only traits offered are condition (new/used),UPC and MPN. That’s it.
After listing hundreds of items, all of a sudden these issues are appearing.
Anyone else?
