I am just lost with all of this. I had such high hopes for Bonanza. I am new, I know…but no one is even seeing my items. It says I have had TWO VIEWS! What’s up with that! I have read good and bad reviews about Bonanza, but I still thought it would work…but now I am wondering. DO I have to have a webstore or membership for these people to really promote my items. I may only have 45 items…but they are good items. My items are supposed to be promoted and seen by thousands of people…I don’t believe that if there are only 2 views. What can I do? Throw in the towel on all of this? I spend hours on the computer and NO SALES>
Good pictures are really important. Provide all the small details and make sure to mention them with clothing….measurements (they always vary and most of the time even when the clothing is made in the same batch)…color, material, etc. Think like the shopper when looking at your completed listing and see if you’ve got the facts to make an informed purchasing decision.
I tend to find that even when I read the listing right afterward, I think all the facts are there. Let some time pass and look back at the listing again to have a fresh look.
Let’s take a look at this listing [URL removed]
https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Little-Girl-Purple-Pillowcase-Dress-size-3T/[phone number removed]
Your little girl’s dress is adorable.
Fill the title completely out. You could include the pattern in the title….flowers floral polka dots bottom ruffle short sleeve spring summer etc. When shoppers search here on Bonanza, the words are not searched for in our descriptions (for good reason), so titles are really important.
Pictures….to me purple is a color that can pop. A light background so that the purple is popping more instead of blending into the background. Looks like there are strings on top of the shoulder? If so, tie them into a bow. Show them what the dress is about.
Measurements…shoulder to shoulder, underarm to bottom hem, bottom swing of dress from side to side, chest. Make sure to include for these measurements that it is when measuring the dress flat when lying down, side to side.
Does it have a brand or is it handmade?
Need more title space, you could leave out the word size or abbreviate it with Sz 3T
It does not take as much work on eBay. Listings move on up the more time that passes. Shoppers are bound to see it (unless eBay is not doing right in their search which has been known to happen). Listings on Bonanza do not move on up the ladder.

Here are some things that may help..
https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/booths_setup/why_no_sales
https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/seller_success/how_to_make_your_first_sales
your booth is still new..does not have a google reputation yet..and that takes time
Good quality links back to your store
and being able to place higher than other sites in google shopping searches (ie ebay and other older more established stores)…
This place is not like ebay or amazon..list it and wait will not work here…

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
