Nothing sales

I am just lost with all of this. I had such high hopes for Bonanza. I am new, I know…but no one is even seeing my items. It says I have had TWO VIEWS! What’s up with that! I have read good and bad reviews about Bonanza, but I still thought it would work…but now I am wondering. DO I have to have a webstore or membership for these people to really promote my items. I may only have 45 items…but they are good items. My items are supposed to be promoted and seen by thousands of people…I don’t believe that if there are only 2 views. What can I do? Throw in the towel on all of this? I spend hours on the computer and NO SALES>

Don’t give up, it take a lot of self promotion to make sales here. Are you on social media. I have found my views and sales come from me, not google.

Twitter, Pinterest and Google are good places to promote your Bonanza items. Self promoting is very important and I use the 9% advertising level.

Yes, just make accounts for your booth and promote, promote, promote!

My opinion is [URL removed] There is too much competition online. I sell on other sites and everyone is saying the same thing~~‘no sales’. I sell much better on a social media site. THink of all the other selling sites online. Then think of how many people are selling on each site.

This is my second attempt to sell on this site. The same items are on Ebay and receive many, many hits per day. Self promotion is a joke. We are PAYING these people. . If your items do not sell, they don’t get paid.

So far it looks like a dead site for many sellers. Google promotion should really work, but it does not works well for some reason. I checked many jewelry stores, and they do not sell at all.

Good pictures are really important. Provide all the small details and make sure to mention them with clothing….measurements (they always vary and most of the time even when the clothing is made in the same batch)…color, material, etc. Think like the shopper when looking at your completed listing and see if you’ve got the facts to make an informed purchasing decision.

I tend to find that even when I read the listing right afterward, I think all the facts are there. Let some time pass and look back at the listing again to have a fresh look.

Let’s take a look at this listing [URL removed]
https://www.bonanza.com/listings/Little-Girl-Purple-Pillowcase-Dress-size-3T/[phone number removed]
Your little girl’s dress is adorable.

Fill the title completely out. You could include the pattern in the title….flowers floral polka dots bottom ruffle short sleeve spring summer etc. When shoppers search here on Bonanza, the words are not searched for in our descriptions (for good reason), so titles are really important.

Pictures….to me purple is a color that can pop. A light background so that the purple is popping more instead of blending into the background. Looks like there are strings on top of the shoulder? If so, tie them into a bow. Show them what the dress is about.

Measurements…shoulder to shoulder, underarm to bottom hem, bottom swing of dress from side to side, chest. Make sure to include for these measurements that it is when measuring the dress flat when lying down, side to side.

Does it have a brand or is it handmade?

Need more title space, you could leave out the word size or abbreviate it with Sz 3T

It does not take as much work on eBay. Listings move on up the more time that passes. Shoppers are bound to see it (unless eBay is not doing right in their search which has been known to happen). Listings on Bonanza do not move on up the ladder.

Here are some things that may help..

https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/booths_setup/why_no_sales

https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/seller_success/how_to_make_your_first_sales

your booth is still new..does not have a google reputation yet..and that takes time
Good quality links back to your store
and being able to place higher than other sites in google shopping searches (ie ebay and other older more established stores)…

This place is not like ebay or amazon..list it and wait will not work here…

Take a look at the feed back of the commenters. Notice when they joined, amount of sales feed back and take note of the separation of dates between feed back, I have high hopes to but we will see

in doing so, also check how many transactions (not items sold) the buyer also has…since buyers are not required to register on bonanza to purchase…90% rarely leave feedback

ccmom says: March 25, 2018

if you check mine..you will see a FB in 3/2017 and then one inn 3/2018, but between those two fb, I have had close to a 100 sales with over 250 items sold for this one booth…so FB is not really an indicator on Bonz

ccmom says: March 25, 2018

Also note..that I created this ID originally as a buyer ID..while I had a booth under a different name…though it says I joined in 2009..the booth was not opened until some time later. My first booth was specialized…active for 4 years and did not do too bad

ccmom says: March 25, 2018

one more comment..also this booth is winding down now too…it orginally had over 2500 items and for several years maintained [phone number removed]…bonz tends to cycle…slow at first..did great for several years…has add a bunch of new stuff and has seemed to slow down again…

EmpressDepot says: March 25, 2018

Since Bonanza’s own internal traffic is slow, “some” sale on Bonanza in a month is doing good and that a seller is doing something right in my honest opinion. This is not to say that for sellers without sales are not doing things right.

EmpressDepot says: March 25, 2018

My booth was on and off reserve last year.

zappys_closet says: March 26, 2018

I read what you write and understand it, but I also see a lot of people saying they sale nothing on bonanza.

zappys_closet says: March 26, 2018

I am going to give Bonanza 3 months this time around and then see if I’m one that can say it’s ok or just a waste of time. Trust me I want to sale items on bonanza, but when you talk to other sellers I know in my local area and they never heard of Bonanza, how can you expect buyers?

EmpressDepot says: March 27, 2018

.There are a lot of people who say Bonanza is slow for them. Some people ask for advise and use it, some ask and don’t return to see what sellers have said and don’t do anything different to help make it better. I know that there are some sellers who are doing almost (cannot say everything since…

EmpressDepot says: March 27, 2018

everything since no one is perfect lol) and they still are not getting sales. If someone reaches out for help and we see something, it is good to mention it.

Here the same. Totally losing the hope with Bonanza. Really dont know what its going on
