If you are talking about here..
Accepting the credit cards at this time can only be done through one of the payment options of Checkout By Amazon or Paypal….unless you wish to make arrangements for the buyer to contact you to accept the cards directly (over the phone???) which I think buyers are probably not going to bother with…
As for checks, go to Edit Booth Options
Payments and Purchases tab
Click on Money Order
Then in your listings state that you will accept checks and the buyer must use the Money Order option.
This means the offer will come to you and you will mark it as paid when you receive the check or Money Order (please wait for clearing on both to ensure actual payment)…
If you are speaking outside of bonanza..I do not have any experience with that…and suggest advice from some of the others here

I take PayPal. It is my only funding source. PayPal will send you a reader you attached to your cell phone so anywhere you have service you can accept credit cards, debit cards, checks and payments from people’s PayPal accounts. It is very simple.
Also, Paypal has the best credit card discount I have found. It is a straight 3.9%. You do not get charged any additional charges like transaction fees, or a bigger discount if the buyer is using a “mileage” or “rewards card”.
Finally, if you run a certain amount (I can’t remember what it is) of sales through PayPal for the month, they will reduce your credit card discount for the next month.

If you are talking about taking credit cards at shows, etc, there are two options I know of. one is Squareup.com the other is Paypal.com. Both provide a free reader that attaches to your android phone.
Accepting checks is your choice, but in person you need to copy all the driver’s license information to the front of the check in case it is no good. Police need that info to to prosecute. I no longer take personal checks, but that’s me.

Actually, by using Paypal Here (swipe cards and process via smart phone) your transaction fee is 2.7% plus transaction fee.
A bit lower then processing online payments.
The Paypal Here app works well, I’d recommend it…

Square Mobile reader —2.75% fee—NO transaction fee
Paypal Mobile reader—-2.7%—-NO transaction fee
These 2 make ALL the Merchant account companies EXTINCT

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
