Just an fyi for online sellers - usps

In case you haven’t been informed, USPS has filed for a raise in rates in January on some of their shipping services, like Priority, that are more popular with on line sellers – unclear on which ones (oh the headache of changing shipping profiles!). Seems First Class Mail won’t be affected (whew!). First Class International is.

First-class Parcels are due for a 12.8% increase. I read elsewhere that the minimum weight is being increased from 4 to 8 oz and the 14-16 oz weight limit will be available to all for first-class parcels.

Yes, parcels are up for an increase, but not the cost of Forever Stamps. It’s getting harder and harder to try to keep the cost of shipping down for buyers.

I guess, candyapple861, that USPS is trying to cash in on the surge in online shopping! But if we sell less bcause of high shipping, it won’t help them.

Ugh… Not again. Up Twice in 2014 and again in May of 2015 and now next January.
While I try to keep shipping costs as reasonable as I can, it is difficult to keep needing to change shipping on items.

Bonanza could really help us by letting its sellers use ALL Priority Ship options (such as Regional and Flat Rate Legal and Padded Priority envelopes) and be able to have a working CALCULATION for PARCEL ship items (not just Priority) to help keep our costs to the buyers as reasonable as we can. These other cost saving ship options have been in place with USPS for a while now and (lets face it) ship costs can make or break a sale and more sales for us is more money in fees back to Bonanza.
