I opened my shop two months ago and haven’t sold a thing. Should I stay or should I go? Because I’m thinking about closing it all down and taking my business elsewhere. My other shops elsewhere are doing awesome, but here, its stagnant. I don’t think I should waste anymore of my time in here. Thanks for giving me a chance though. Best of luck to all of you and Merry Christmas. :)

Sorry you have not sold anything yet. That is really frustrating, especially when we are in the middle of December, which usually translates into heavier sales. The fact that you have success on other platforms confirms that you have good products, so that is not the issue.
When you are selling on multiple channels, it is important that you manage those channels in a way that benefits you. You need to adjust your pricing to reflect your different costs on each marketplace so that your items do not compete with each other. If you do not manage your channels properly, then you could be inadvertently driving buyers to marketplaces where you pay higher fees. For example, I searched your items in Google Shopping and I found the same result (side by side) of your item on two different marketplaces. Your price for the other marketplace was dramatically lower, so buyers are obviously going to go there before they come to Bonanza.

Perhaps there are minor differences in the products but that is not obvious in your listing as it shows in Google Shopping. Bottom line is that buyers are going to go where the price is better (most of the time).
So when you are selling on multiple channels, make sure you are managing those channels properly, otherwise, you are going to compete against yourself and drive buyers to your products for sale on marketplaces where you may pay a higher fee. If you are selling on multiple channels that submit to Google Shopping, you should regularly search for your products in Google Shopping (don’t click on the ad) to see what buyers are seeing. That will give you good insight on why buyers are purchasing from “X” channel.
To answer your question, yes, Bonanza is really worth it. But in order for it to be effective, you need to manage your multiple channels strategically, so you benefit from the additional exposure (vs having it work against you). One other benefit (of many) about Bonanza is that there are no upfront costs. You pay nothing until you make a sale. I hope that helps and that you make many sales soon!

Thank you so much to everyone for your advice. I will give it more time and fix some prices. The only reason why some prices are different is because I just put in a Christmas sale in my other shop. Maybe I should come back and do the same here. :)

IF you are looking for quick sales and a place where you can list your items and leave, then bonanza may not be for you. Those type of sales are generally found at sites with well known names like ebay, etsy, amazon, etc. Bonanza is a community of members, some that have been here for years, that list their items and support each other whenever possible with tweets and other social media promotion…..Bonanza also gives us the freedom to work our business as we see fit, not how THEY want us to run it. There are no hoops to jump thru every few months like some sites which I wont mention, but i am sure you know who they are…So while sales may be slow here for the most part, its basically like having your own website, you set it up run it how you want to without much interference, but you are given the tools you need from Bonanza.

I’m only getting one or two views a day as well. There have been days where I got no views at all. I’m getting frustrated myself.

Sometimes I wonder what I am doing here myself (and I have been here over 10 years). Granted I don’t do the expensive advertising packs or social media tweaking and it seems that things have gone way south here after Google got fussy about attributes for finding stuff in search. If it is any consolidation, things have not been real stellar on the auction site of late either (unless you are giving stuff away at prices that you will lose money on.)
Best of Luck.

I have found that Bonanza is one of the most difficult sites to sell on and most of my items get 0 views over the course of many weeks. Months go by with 0 views on these same items that get way higher views elsewhere on my other selling venues.
I do agree also that a seller has to be diligent and manage all sites they have their items listed on…My items are basically listed same price across all my selling venues so I know it’s not the price that is the problem.
I have noticed that sales from my main selling venue have been way off the mark since June, so there is something going on somewhere. I don’t do social media so I have to depend on advertising here on Bonanza and also listing elsewhere to get my items visibility and then just hope for more sales from Bonanza.
You gotta do whatcha gotta do!

I just opened my third store on Bonanza. I love the small feel of the site. LOL…. I can find an item I am looking for! Bonanza needs facebook, twitter, blogs, etc. to help sell your items. I would not give up. Where can you go that has a beautiful item landing page, store front, and you pay ZERO except when you sell an item. Good luck and keep selling on Bonanza. :)

On the big sites with lots of resources for marketing, you pay for the traffic. On smaller sites, sellers have to put some blood, sweat, and tears into generating traffic themselves. One thing I find appealing about Bonanza is that it seems to provide tools – paid & unpaid – to help sellers do that. I haven’t had time yet to figure out which ones will work best for my business or, therefore, to see what results. That’s for the New Year.

I wouldn’t leave just yet, if at all. I myself sell on many other venues and have Bonanza as my main showcase location, when an Item sells else where I advertise my main location here. Yes, this site takes a lot more effort, but, that is how you grow any business. I have been with Bonanza for many years and it may not be the best sales wise but it is the only site I have had no other problems. I put up new items daily, advertise on social media, also have a couple of seasoned sellers here advertise for me as well, Inspired Creations is great and she is very reasonably priced. As I said, keep your booth open, even if you focus more energy on your others it is still another avenue. The last 2 months have really picked up in my case, it just takes time. I hope it all works out for you and Happy Holidays!

Nothing is successful, but it’s about sticking to it, come on!
My new store opened for half a month and got 2000 goods to begin to order. The first order or the client asked me to help him find the product in China. I helped him to do very well, so the cooperation, you have to optimize each product. Let customers know the features and quality of the product.
