I’m the IT part of the team and have a technical concern. Will try to explain it as clearly as I can.
The Etsy importer copies/caches all listing images it may find over the other place. They look like [URL removed]
[URL removed]
I’ve deleted these imported listings from my booth, but the images at bonanzleimages are still there.
Now, is it safe to refer to these same bonanzleimages in CSV Inventory Import, and create new listings with them?

Our images are hosted at amazon and bonanzle was the name of the site originally…
Any time you upload a photo, that is what the url will be….as to how long it remains on the servers at amazon…I do not know for sure
I do know that the images will remain for a certain period of time after deletion of the listing, but the best thing to do is to just go ahead and test the urls to see if the photos are still there.
I have some photos that have remained on the servers for over 5 years but others have disappeared after a while..
So to be absolutely sure, you may have to ask support

Thanks, ccmom. That’s exactly my concern. They should clean the cloud from time to time to save space and costs of redundant crap. If the images are linked with the original listing that’s bad news. I’d expect the images to be deleted by last access date or something like that, but it’s a dev decision.
Preferred to ask here because support is a bit …slow to respond, and they seem to have a look at the forums it seems.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
