The rug has the date 1904 woven into it,,it is off center and you can find imperfection’s in the rug,,so it definetly is real,,it is Wool for sure,,and it is 107 yrs old,,im trying to authenticate it,,the weave is all the way and not stopped and then started again,,ive done some research,,but im not for sure if it is NAVAJO,,,it has Birds and then in the middle is a Pot on the bottom with branches coming up with flower’s on them and the birds getting Nectar i think,,Wow,,it is a Work of art and very beautiful,,ive inherited it and all i know is it is VERY Old,,not sure if it is NAVAJO,,,Can anyone help if i send Detailed Pictures,,,Thankyou

Sounds very cool. Hubby has an old rug/blanket that we tried to authenticate and found it is very difficult, even when taken to an expert in the area at a college who was recommended. Maybe someone else knows which direction to point you in. Best of luck with it.
