I almost wrecked my car. I heard an advertisement for Bonanza today on WFLA 620 radio in Tampa, Florida! I was thrilled.

You mean they finally spent money to advertise? I am shocked…

This is a good thing, but after being on Bonanza for a couple of months, I think lack of advertising is far from the only problem the website has. Most importantly – sales get blocked. If the ads bring in new shoppers, but when they try to place an order, the order gets blocked, do you really think they’re going to stick around? Would you go back to a website that didn’t let you buy the product you wanted to buy?

Glad to hear this. When I tell people we are now selling on Bonanza, they’re like… “Bonanza????” Lots of people still haven’t heard of this place. Bonanza needs to do a lot more advertising.

In two years I’ve sold one or two items, for like $20. It’s okay, Letgo, OfferUp, Mercari and others don’t get it either. I sell a bunch on ebay and always welcome other venues, but they all want their money but don’t think they need to help the sellers. I have less imnportant tyhings to do than list on here for no activity. Mercari started okay, then they just keep adding fees, thyey are now at about 15%, similar to Amazon, who has zillions of eyeballs. Why would I bother with Mercari?
