How to pause a product listing out of stock?

How do I pause a product in a listing that is out of stock?

I do not want to delete the listing.

Bonanza’s system seems totally inadequate to handle such a common problem.

Hi @NeatCuriosities,

Thanks so much for your post and so sorry for any trouble you have had. @A2z4u2c has the right idea! We wanted to follow up with some additional instructions on how to place an individual listing on hold.

Bonanza allows sellers to place items in “Reserved” status so buyers cannot purchase that item. Items in reserved status remain in your account, however they will not be active in your booth and buyers will not be able to see those items. To set an individual item to “Reserved” status, visit the listing page (the same page a buyer would visit to view your listing details and add the item to their cart). At the top of the page, under the title, click the link to “Reserve item.”

If you wish to reserve multiple items at once, you can do so via the batch editor. Point your mouse over the “Selling” link in the upper left-hand corner of any page, then select “Batch edit items” from the drop down. Use the filter options above your listing to narrow down items by title, category, etc. Then, once you have them in view, select them all and edit the status to “reserved” using the tool box at the top of the page and apply the change to your selected listings.

When you wish to post the item(s) for sale again, go to the “Selling > Batch edit items” page and select the listings, then change their status from “Reserved” back to “For sale.” You can read more about the batch editor on the following [URL removed]

You can edit it and put units to zero. Or you can put the item on reserve.
Both can be done from your main booth page. Just click on the item and click edit or reserve.

Such a depreciating statement…, is it fair, though? or necessary to write it before checking help pages or receiving an answer here?

Instead of so many words in this sentence, only one word added in the “Search help topics” box would give You the immediate solution to Your [URL removed]
