Having trouble selling items

Hello, I have yet to sell anything on this platform. In all honesty I’m new at trying to sell stuff online. I have a number of collectables to Nintendo to Collectors plates. Any advise for a newbie?

If I may suggest to you – one thing you definitely need to know is that listing on Bonanza is NOT priced per word of your listings. I looked at a couple of your items. It’s extremely helpful, for example with dolls, that you state the size of the doll, what she is made of, whether her clothing is made of cloth, and if it’s removable – What are her eyes made [URL removed] are they painted on, glass eyes, do they open and close – whatever. What’s the hair made of? Is it a doll for a child or a collectible item? What condition is she in? Those are the things that people generally want to know. Can you show the back of the doll? A close-up of the face?

I looked at your sled. I don’t know much about sleds at all, but, if I were thinking of buying one for a child, I’d like to know a lot more about the item than its brand and the price. It’s a good idea to assume that potential buyers don’t know a great deal about the item you’re selling, and provide them with helpful information so they can make an informed decision.

It’s really hard work describing an item for the internet, but once you get the hang of it, it goes a lot faster.

I once read in a book about Ebay that you should describe your items as if there were NO Pictures to give the buyer all the info about it that they can imagine. That was of course before the 140 character Twitter attention span is now the rule. Good Luck

My first suggestion is to use your free booth until you get familiar with Bonanza set your final value fee level at 9% so your items will be sent to Google. Then, promote them on Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and other social media venues. Add new items frequently. It would also be good to see what your type of item is selling for on eBay and use that price as a guide. Since we are getting close to the holiday season, it might be worthwhile to purchase a Turbo Traffic package. Be sure to collect your tokens every day because they can be applied to your final value fees, which save you a little bit of money. If you have questions, there are lots of people on Bonanza that will be happy to answer them and offer advice. Good luck and welcome to Bonanza.

It takes some time on this platform. I have had crickets for months since I turned off turbo packs.

Also Beware that purchasing a Turbo Package (pay to play) is expensive if it results in NO sales or not enough sales to justify the expense. Make sure YOU have enough items in your booth to get the maximum exposure if using Turbo as just a few items may not be worth the cost.
