Nearly all eBay sellers are unhappy about the new “managed payments” eBay is replacing Paypal with. But BUYERS are also unhappy, and since the checkout procedure has changed and become more complicated, they are shopping elsewhere. The eBay-Paypal split is thus turning into a huge gift to Amazon and other sites, including Bonanza.

And yet you would think Bonz would capatialize on the disgruntled people from the auction site, yet they do NOTHING to promote this site. Sales here are dismal and AMZ is NOT the answer for many sellers. Too bad.

I hear ya! Some radio advertising before and after work days wouldn’t hurt.

I don’t like to be a Debbie Downer, but I do agree that Bonanza needs to do more mainstream advertising. They need to help us help them. I promote but it has to come from both sides.

I also have seen a bit more of a slowdown this year compared to last year, but, with the rising cost of school supplies it makes sense. People spent their money on school. Hopefully it will pick up next month and going into the holidays.

I came to Bonanza about 3 years ago, my BEST here was two sales in one month. My wife and I sell on Ebay (for YEARS). She gave up on Bonanza some time ago and I’m ready to jump ship. NOTHING really sells on here and the only reason I have stuck with Bonanza is because it’s free. But I was really hoping Bonanza would be it, but my merchandise doesn’t come up in Google Shopping and I can’t customize my inventory. So, sorry, I have to go, I think.

You would think Bonanza would promote our booths, it would cause them to have more revenue, but doesn’t look like that is happening.

I’ve been on Etsy for 4 1/2 years and the first of July my shops died. So I am here. I’ve been working to build up my new Bonanza shop, but wonder what else to do besides social media. If this is a nationwide trend, I hope it changes soon.

I tried Bonanza as an experiment. I sell on eBay and Etsy with great results. With Bonanza, i have not had even 1 ‘looker’. i am about ready to pull my account. I am NOT going to buy one of Bonanza’s expensive seller tools.
My antiquities do not get posted to Amazon because I do not have bar codes.
