Credit cards and direct checkout

Does anyone know if we can still take credit cards through Direct Checkout? I was informed by a member of support that Direct Checkout was no longer a option, and there wasn’t a timetable as to when it would be back. I am confused and disappointed because the Direct Checkout/credit card option was really good for my booth.

Support responded on this thread that Direct checkout was being re-worked..as to when it will be back up and running (hopefully soon since it is the holiday season)…perhaps someone from support will come in and post when it will be back

Thank you. I am really disappointed about not being able to use direct checkout. From the time I activated it for my booth, every sale I had was paid by credit card.

I was told a that they stopped allowing credit cards because there was too much fraud. I don’t understand that since they should be able to set it up to only accept matching billing address and card codes. My sales have been down 25% since deactivation. I really wish Bonanza would bring this back!

What does re-worked mean? Does this mean that the credit card payment option won’t be available?

It’s not available at this point in time. Customers can still use credit cards with PayPal if they don’t have a Paypal account, The problem with that is, a lot of people see PayPal as a payment form and decide not to buy.
