Can customers attach images in their messages to sellers?

Can customers attach images in their messages to sellers? I’ve been looking at the “contact the seller” feature but from what I can tell there’s no way of doing this. Am I missing anything?

They cannot attach a photo, but they can put a photo in your message IF it is hosted on the internet somewhere..by taking the URL of the picture and placing it between ! (exclamation points)

Example this is the URL of your avatar

[URL removed]

now put an exclamation point at the beginning (before http) and at the end (after the .jpg) and your avatar for the forum is posted below

![URL removed]

I just sent you a message with a picture..check your inbox

ps..from the old forums, though the pictures are no longer available, the detailed instructions are there

I haven’t seen any photo feature, but I’m on laptop so it might be different.
One thing you could do that would probably work is use Imgur or Flickr for a photo drop and then link the photo in the message.

There shouldn’t be any difference between what a website looks like on a laptop vs desktop PC. They’re all computers.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
