I’m just getting started on this site so don’t know how things work. One of the things I am selling is postcards. There is no decent way for me to calculate the cost of shipping for these items since I mostly use flat rate boxes. I frequently save people hundreds of dollars in shipping costs by doing this on other sites since most people buy lots of listings at one time. On other sites I have to adjust the invoice before they pay. charging extra per item doesn’t work and neither does weighing each item since it’s all based on how many I can get in a box. Is there a way for me to adjust an invoice before a customer pays for it?

I would add in my description that you are happy to send an invoice directly from Paypal for exact cost for shipping, to save more money for buyers.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
