This is why I prefer Bonanza over other sites, our diverse forums, and our people’s willingness to help one another.
I have been on Bonz many years, and I am Yet to understand what this is called [[Brand]] or how to properly use it…where can I get more information, spacing of [[ and Brand, colon?
Are there other things beyond Brand that can be used?
Many thanks,
Ronald

Brand is one of the unique product identifiers that is a Google requirement for many items. GTIN or UPC and MPN and Manufacture Part Number are others. For some items, using two of three of these is adequate, in others brand is a requirement.

Any acceptable google attribute can be added like that. The best option is to just use the boxes when adding a new item, and add the attribute if it’s not available on the form.

[[[URL removed]]]
no spaces
Called a google attribute
and as A2z says any acceptable google attribute can be added to the listing (if done correctly will not visible in listing) or in Update Items
Search Optimization
if there is not the option to add it in item traits…(certain traits such as isbn, band, mpn, or upc become attributes for google product search)

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
