I published a coupon for 10% off. At first there was a button in the listings that said “coupon”. When clicked, the message i created when I created the coupon would pop up. Now, all the Items in my booth have a little flag saying 10% off. In the listing, there’s a button saying "10% off. Hover over it with the mouse, and it says “Item price discount. A coupon for 10% off has been applied to the price of this item”
My main concern is that the message I created to explain the coupon is gone. In an effort to encourage buyers to purchase my items so that i can earn some positive feedback, I created the coupon to give the first 10 customers a discount.
Anyone know why the visual presentation of the coupon changed and the message disappeared?

I think the blue flag with the 10% off is something they are testing. I saw it last week on my items but it is gone now. I did not see it on your items when I looked.

The published coupon, once clicked on will then show the buyer/person how much of a discount they will have. It only shows this way to the user who actually clicked on it. Once they log out or leave the site, it will reset for them no longer be visible to them…
This is the way the published coupons have always worked. Public means a discount available to anyone who cares to use it. If they do not click on it, they they do not get the discount.
Private coupons, the buyer will have to have the code and to use it, they will have to enter at time of checkout.
As to changing…no once things have gone public/or sold no changes can be made

When I go to your booth and click on any of your items it opens and states that a coupon is available. I click on the coupon link and your message comes up with the verbiage you mentioned above. Currently I’m using IE as my browser when using Bonanza. I’m also not seeing the flag showing 10% off as you described.

Thanks for the fast replies! One other question was how to make a coupon private. Can that be done after it’s created. Can anything be edited after the coupon is created? The reason I ask is that Bonanza apparently allows a limited number of coupons to be created per month.

To make the coupon private, I would delete it and then reset the coupon but do not publish it. Not necessary, but perhaps to circumvent any confusion, I would use a different name (coupon code) for the new coupon.
