"a buyer order awaits your approval on bonanza" why am i getting these all the time?

I’ve been getting these a lot lately. Two within the last 48 hours. It appears that a buyer tries to purchase an item (or items), but it’s sent to me for approval rather than just letting them check out. When I go to look at it, the buyer’s zip code is there, shipping is calculated, etc. It’s all there, BUT it isn’t totaled up. I have to just hit “recalculate” on the invoice and then send it. However, buyers rarely seem to actually pay these. I think if they can’t “Buy Now” then they lose interest within a few minutes, as the impulse passes.

Why’s it happening? Anyone know?

Hello RummageRampage

Welcome to the Community!

There are different reasons why a seller may be asked to approve an order, here are some examples.

1. If the buyer is making an offer for a lower price.
2. If our system has not been able to verify an address of an international seller.

These are just a couple of reasons.

We recommend that you reach out to our Support team at [email protected] so that we can look into this further. Please provide us with any order numbers where this has happened and any other information that may assist our team.

Thank you!

Kind Regards

I’ve had this happen if the shipping wasn’t clearly defined. Sometimes if that box in the listing form, that allows the buyer to choose the shipping method, is checked, it comes thru to the seller needing approval. You could check your listings to be sure that box IS NOT checked and a definite method of shipping has been selected by you.

This could be what’s causing these for you too. I’m not 100% sure in your case, but it has been my experience to find this true.
