I would call them brother and sister twins and describe them using the information you’ve already provided as well as their size, condition, hair and eye color, whether they have their original box and paperwork or not, etc., etc.

These dolls were mass produced so it will take someone looking for little blonde brother and sister twins, or someone just looking for the cute factor. You never know what will catch someone’s eye when it comes to collectibles.

Unfortunately, these types of mass produced collector dolls rarely hold their value. There were so many of them made, that you find them for sale everywhere and they usually bring pennies on the dollar compared to their original value. Do some searches using Seymour Mann Connoisseur as search words on the various sites like Bonanza for some comparisons.

These SM dolls originated in 1993 (MCMXCIII) which was a common year that started on a Friday (meaning if it was in a common year, their probably worth what you paid or less) which is not much but we will not mention a price. The printed ink remains dark and quite nice for being 17 yrs of age. We enjoyed viewing them, good luck!

I searched for them and found most on auction style sites that look to be very similar to yours with a starting bid of 19.99-49.00 dollars, one has a bid sitting at 22.00. Things to consider would be if you original boxes, condition. You did not mention size so I stress that I could only find those that looked similar. I would also consider listing as Vintage Seymour Mann Connoisseur Collectible Doll Pair and use pricing that would be fair to both you and the buyer being sure to include best offer. Good Luck :)

As with MOST collectibles the prices vary…it all depends upon the market out there…and not just dollar value but things like rarity, the fact you have what seem to me to be twins, a boy and a girl twins at that…Pricing Guesstimate, start at $250.00 and do an OBO, but I’m not an expert, just letting you know my Friend collects dolls and I know she pays $60 to $200 for any ONE Doll she’s looking for, at any one time…whatever people are willing to pay, is oftentimes how one determines pricing, I hope others here, more expert than I, can also help you determine pricing…

Agree with divinefabricsnmore—good luck.

Ditto what debdoll said. They were mass produced, so they won’t go for much.

You may be able to get some information by writing to the company, depending on how exacting their records of these manufactures has been. Be sure to include a clear, identified photograph of each doll and provide a detailed description of each.

I also did a search on what some of these type dolls by Seymour Mann sold for, and it was as low as 1 cent and for a pair of raggedy Ann & Andy, about $50. Like someone else said, they mass produced these dolls, so they are hard to resell. If you do an “Advanced Search” on the big auction site & select “Completed listings” the ones in red did not sell, the ones in green did. You can compare them to what you have and make a price decision for yourself. I’m sorry, but $200 is not going to happen.
