Why is my ebay rating of 9870 only showing 4991 on bonanza

I’m in the process of moving from Ebay to Bonanza and I was just wondering why my feedback rating was so much lower.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hello jefffogg,

Welcome to Bonanza! Sorry for the confusion. Bonanza’s feedback system is a bit different from eBay’s. Currently our system will import up to 5000 of your most recent eBay feedback as a seller only. Our importer is designed to import unique (registered eBay users) and non-unique feedback (non registered eBay users). Our importer will also only import the feedback number, not your feedback text/comments.

Any inconsistencies with your feedback are most likely from your non-unique transactions on eBay. Our importer cannot tell the difference between the two and we do not have the ability to manually edit the imported feedback.

At any time you can delete your imported eBay feedback by revisiting your feedback page and clicking on the delete link (the “Delete” link is at the bottom of the feedback page).

Hope that helps. If you have additional questions, please let us know at [email protected] where we have the tools to review your account and offer further assistance. Welcome to the Bonanza community, and happy selling!

Kind regards,
The Bonanza Team

And You will be able to add later only 9 more of them, because “Only your 5000 most recent feedback will be imported.”:

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
