There are no tags. Just a sticker on the back that says he was manufactured from “all new type material” and some registration numbers. I think he may be taking a ride in my car to the Goodwill today!

Does it have to be a known character? The neckband is a definite clue as Daffy and other cartoon people wore those often, and the Chase Bag Company was used by many corporations in advertising. It is valuable as a vintage mystery but my guess is one of Jim Hendersons red haired ones called Gerald

I think it’s something like Montrose suggested – a fast-food restaurant give-away. When I looked at the photo, I first thought Burger King, but I can’t say why that is.
