Identify Japan piece & (duck plate solved)

Piece 1: A small tray that may hold trinkets and mayber there was a matching cup. (There is an indentations for a cup) (Maybe for a bedside tray) (About 5 inches long)
Porcelain matte finish with gold accented. Made in Japan
What is it called?
The manufacturer?

Piece 2: Dimensional duck picture in porcelain. SOLVED
I saw something close from Napco. No writing on it. SOLVED Lefton

No clue on what the use on the first one, but that red JAPAN is from the 1950s according to gotheborg.com, post WWII for sure.

The second, not a clue, have never seen a plate like that one but it makes me think English when I look at it. Only a guess here.

Wow this tray is something! LOVE it!
I’d see a cup and cookies there.
Maybe a place setting (one of a set)

I’m pretty sure the duck plate was made by Lefton.
It probably lost it’s foil sticker over the years.
I found others like it by searching “Lefton duck plate”.
