I have not opted in to the 13% advertising level because I’ve always assumed that I needed an eBay shop to benefit from it. I do have 1 product listing at eBay, but I never want to have a shop there.
This is what the 13% level states on the advertising opt-in [URL removed] “When you opt into eBay Advertising, the Broadcaster will publish your items to eBay as 30-day fixed price listings.”
Does this mean that sellers who DON’T have shops at eBay, or WHO HAVE NO LISTINGS at eBay will have their products automatically listed there, where they don’t have to do anything?
Or does the seller have to have a CERTAIN TYPE OF ACCOUNT at eBay?
Thank you for clarifying this for me.

Sorry for the confusion, Sandi! The 13% advertising level is for sellers who would like to publish/export listings that are active here on Bonanza, but not on eBay. You are required to have an active seller account on eBay and you have to have at least one item listed directly on eBay in order to publish your Bonanza items over. If you don’t have an eBay shop, your items will not be published over to eBay.
Here is a link to our Help Center that goes into detail about publishing to [URL removed] https://www.bonanza.com/site_help/booths_setup/Publishing_to_eBay.
Hope this helps!

A few years ago, I checked the eBay advertising and all my items went to eBay costing me about $40.00 listing fees. I did sell one items for $12.00, but when my month was over, that was the end of eBay for me. If I want to list something on eBay, I will list it separately on eBay only. I do 13% advertising, but I do not have eBay checked. Hope this helps.

To clarify the advertising levels… from the Bonanza Help [URL removed]
“Higher advertising levels unlock access to additional shopping channels and include a higher ad spend to drive more buyer traffic to your listings.”

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
