I was reading up on Google shopping .
One of the required fields is something called a Gtin. I have never heard of this, nor are they clear how to find it.
I think the google “help videos” assume that everyone who watches it is a google employee and knows all their jargon!
Without all the required information they say my product will be “disapproved” which sound a lot like cancel culture speak.
Any help would be appreciated.

You usually can google the name of the item and add UPC, GTIN, MON Etc.. to find those numbers
Others may have then in their listings or something
Don’t count on it being the correct one from another’s listing
Once you have that UPC number google it buy first entering upc and that number to verify
But even in today’s world not every single item has a upc or MPN although most every item does

not cancel culture..google rules..
Google requires 2 of the 3 identifier attributes for all listings
Brand, mpn, upc…if you do not have upc just use brand and mpn which your item has
and as said above [[identifier_[URL removed] will be used instead of upc.
If a upc exists..it can usually be found in google shopping on other listings

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
