If you Google, “Invalid GTIN Value” you will get a ton of results with some great explanations. Here is one of [URL removed] [URL removed]

more than likely..have a space, dash, 1 too many/less digits or the check digit is wrong..the last digit or copied the number down wrong
if you are looking at the Search Optimize in batch edit, make sure it shows as
[[[URL removed] and not like this [[[URL removed] 3234567890126]] or like this
[[[URL removed] ]]
it is almost always an extra space either before of after

Google shopping is also getting really good about catching a GTIN that has a wrong number in it, literally. I found 2 listings where it said invalid GTIN and sure enough I had put one of the numbers wrong. For example, I had put the number 8 whereas I should have put the number 1.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
