Does anyone have big plans for the big event? I have my glasses so my neighbor and i will be in the pasture watch it come and go :)

I was out trying to run my indoor errands so that I could get done and see the darkness that I thought was supposed to happen. At the pharmacy there were people hanging outside and one of them let me use their special glasses. I got to see the moon just about covering the sun.
Some people around where I live thought it was supposed to get completely dark. We found out otherwise. lol. Maybe next time it will be our turn for it to turn dark.
It was neat how there was a sort of dark shadow cast about though.
