To the person having problems with amazon....

So you think that your experience was bad WELL I had a GOOD transaction with a buyer who left me a positive BUT amazon for some reason refunded the money to the buyer and let them keep the item. I contacted them and they said I forgot to mark it shipped on there site. I marked it shipped on Bonanza and got a positive. I am now out the money and the item. I will NEVER deal with them again!!

Whenever I read something like this, and I do often, I am so glad that I have not opened a shop there!

Amazon has turned into a nightmare – guess they’ve gotten too big for their arrogant britches. I had a selling account on there but couldn’t believe all the hoops they made me jump through and then yep, they and ONLY THEY know how you should run your business and they will diddle you if they so desire and there’s not a darned thing you can do about it. Far worse than feeBay. Thankfully I didn’t have any bad experiences like you, and I was making some sales, but I reached a point where it just was more of a pain in the behind than it was worth to me.

You could report this to the FTC. They have a complaint form on their web site (ftc.gov). That was YOUR sale, YOUR money and the least they could have done is requested your tracking info or even confirmed with the buyer that the item was received. Keeping your money like that sounds like outright theft to me. Grief, how outrageous!!! I’m so sorry for you, sincerely.

Years ago, I had given some thought to signing up for Amazon payments here but after doing some research and reading some REALLY bad reviews, decided it was not worth the hassle. It would appear that they have only gotten worse since then so glad I never got involved in the first place. Not that PreyPal is a saint but I have not really had an issue with them, although I dont like the 6 month return policy they implemented a while back.

It seems that Amazon is the 800 lb gorilla and they want to run things and are as bad as Google with the hoops they expect sellers to jump thru.
