Tariff "de minimus" exemption repealed

In about a month, the De Minimus exemption on low value shipments from China will be ending. I know there are MANY sellers on here who dropship products direct from China through AliExpress. Just a heads up that this will be ending and either you or your customer will have to begin paying the import taxes in a month.
This is not anything political at all. Just a warning about your pricing. Be ready to make bulk changes to listings if you fall into this category.
I tried to add a link but the system won’t let me. Google “de minimus rule” and you will find all the info you need.

Gravity, I’m sure you know this but in order to leave a link, leave a space before or after a colon

So, as an update, this has actually tripled. It’s near 85% now. Unless something changes.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
