Syncing between bonanza and ebay

When I sync items between Bonanza and eBay, and the item sells, I end up having to pay fees for both Bonanza and eBay.

For instance, if the items are synced from Bonanza to eBay, and the item sells, eBay charges me and so does Bonanza. Same thing when I sync items from eBay to Bonanza. The item sells on Bonanza, and then eBay charges me.

This can get quite expensive when I take into account up to 17% in eBay fees, PayPal fees, and taxes, plus up to an additional 16% in Bonanza fees if Bonanza did the advertising (for items that are being sold that I synced from eBay to Bonanza.

So syncing is not working for me. Is there something I’m missing?

Don’t know what is happening, since I do not use ebay…but here is fees associated with using ebay…

You will be charged the ebay insertion fees..if sells here, you are still charged for listing there..and…

When your item sells on eBay, you will be subject to eBay’s standard final value fees. Bonanza charges a 1.5% fee for the full price of any item sold on eBay. We can automatically raise the price of your item when we post it if you’d like to compensate for this cost. For more details on Bonanza pricing, see also the next question.

Here is info on how it is suppose to work…

if this is not correct then you should probably contact support…

Yes, ccmom is correct. I sold an item from bonanza but sent it over to ebay….Bonanza added an extra 1.5% to the price of the item so the bonanza fee would be covered. the item sold, and it all worked as it should.

Syncing the items does not mean you won’t get charged. Syncing just means that items sold on one will be removed from the other, so you won’t sell the same thing twice.

How can I sync just one or two items as a test?

Okay, so if I sync from Bonanza to eBay, and the item sells on eBay, I’m subject to eBay fees and an additional 1.5% fee from Bonanza?

I have found that when I sync from eBay to Bonanza, I’m getting hit twice if the item sells on Bonanza. I did contact support and they said that’s not supposed to happen. We’ll see.
