Still waiting for booth to be activated.

I don’t understand what the hold up here is. My booth is still not activated and for that matter when I wrote to Bonanza with a problem I still have not received an answer to that neither. Its been days.

Not a good start for a new site and I am getting worried if I just put hours of work in for nothing or if this was a good idea joining the site.

Hello @Jewels_mybooth,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the confusion. We see that your booth has been approved by the Bonanza team. It appears that you have not yet completed phone verification for your account. You can do this by pointing your mouse over the “My Booth” link in the upper left-hand corner of any page, then selecting “Add or edit items” from the drop down. Click the green “Update booth” button and you will be directed to a page where you can verify your phone number via voice or SMS (text).

It appears that you have some listings imported from Etsy which do not have an appropriate category in order to publish for sale to your Bonanza booth.

We had a look at your Booth Edit [URL removed]

[URL removed]

At the top of this page, you can see a notification that [URL removed] There are now 449 sellable items in your booth. 16 items are online currently. 432 items are incomplete. An item being incomplete means that it is missing some information that is required for it to go live on the site. It is denoted by a yellow dot next to the item.

If you click where it says “432 items are incomplete", it will take you into our Batch Editor page so you can update them. Sometimes, listings from Etsy are missing the main site category. To edit that, you will want to select any items that belong to same category, then select the category at the top of the page and apply the change.

Once you updated all the required information for your listings, the items will be ready for sale and the yellow dot will show as green. Updating your booth using the button on the Edit page linked above will take all items that are ready for sale and put them live in your booth.

Hope that helps!

I know about the 432 items are incomplete on the page but some are up and I still have to work on the rest. That should not stop me from being activated.

I forgot to add that my phone number is a land line and I do not have mobile phone for texting .

Sorry, that got submit before for I was finished. I did not see anything anywhere in there about having to verify my phone number when I opened my account. How am I to do that without a mobile phone?

Thank you ArtistsUnion.

Hello Jewels_[URL removed]

I can see your vintage jewels now, and they are lovely. I like your categories and enjoyed reading your shop bio. I’d say you made a good choice in joining Bonanza. There are many benefits available to booth owners that I haven’t found at other sites, like the ability to create custom categories, to add many images and to list a product from one page. Of course, there is the opportunity to add a webstore and a premium plan.

Welcome and good luck to you!

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
