Hello.
Yesterday I got my first sale via Bing. It was so nice to only have a 52 cent (3.5%) FVF on the item that sold rather than 9%.
So this got me curious to ask with your sales, has Google.com been a decent source of sales for you or directly on Bonanza, etc? All of my sales but this one have come from Google shopping. Or has Bing been decent for you?
Which leads me to another question, on our item stats page, I see direct where it also shows Google shopping, Google.com, Bing, etc. Direct does mean if a customer uses Bonanza’s search box, comes to our booth and makes a purchase?
I’m just sort of really shocked that a sale came through Bing rather than coming from Google.com first….shocked but happy I did get a sale with a low FVF.
On a website I had before coming here in January 2017, sales were decent through Google.com. Just wondering why Google.com is not being nicer with my listings… It’s strange. I do not really do anything different with my listings than I did back then.
I guess what I am trying to ask all of you is have you had other sources bringing you sales other than Google shopping? And from those other sources which ones have you gotten more sales from? I’m very curious to know.
Thanks,
Sharon

I almost NEVER get a sale directly from Bonanza even though I send a link to it with every sale I make on other venues. Anything else I sell here is from Google be it at the 9pct level of advertising or higher (so I keep it at 9pct now). Cant say I ever got anything from Bing and I certainly wont advertise on the auction site as that is what I am really trying to get away from.
All of my sales are one-hit wonders… they hit me for a sale and I wonder where they went afterwards and very seldom do I ever get feedback or they ever come back.

I just had over a week of my items not being lusted on google shopping on another site, but that has changed and all of my items from that site are there now. Most of my items from bonanza make it there. I think google is just weird about google shopping and sometimes things get listed there that are not up to google shopping standards for listing and other times things that have all they demand don’t make it. I also believe another issue is sites either have an issue with google about something or they have not payed the Google bill.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
