Sold an item that was ended on ebay nov of 2018

Just got a sale and when I checked, it’s an item that I sold on another platform and ended the ebay listing on November of last year! Can anyone help with steps I should take with the buyer and cleanup my store inventory?
Thank you very much!!

This is the exact reason I dont cross polinate items across the 2 platforms. You really must remain diligent if you do. Will usually put item on reserve here if I move it over to the auction site (where it usually sells in short time.) Hope your buyer is understandable.

Right or just manage so many listings at one time from one site to the other that are the same if you are going to do this.

Apologize to the buyer, stating that it was an inventory error on your part. Refund his/her purchase amount. Offer them a discount on any future order with you. Apologize AGAIN.

OK, that’s definitely what I would do.

You will either have to manually keep your eBay and Bonanza inventory simultaneously up-to-date. I do mine manually. If I sell on one platform, I adjust the inventory quantity (or remove it when depleted) on the other platform. However, you MUST check in daily (if not more often) to keep the inventory accurately.

Or, you could synchronize the two platforms so that sales on eBay/Bonanza automatically adjust on the other, corresponding platform. You can synchronize your listings during an import of items from eBay to Bonanza. If there’s not too much extra work to get your items ready for sale on Bonanza, you might consider removing all Bonanza items and then re-importing them back from eBay.

I have just over 1,000 items and approximately every two months, I print out inventory sheets from both platforms and manually compare the quantities and make any necessary corrections (after finding and counting the item).

Yeap, that about sums it up. Apologize in the kindest words one can think of!!!

…and then run for your life….ha ha. Just kidding.

if you sell something here if only one then you need to check ebay per-say in your unsold items and delete it or you will run into this problem again. Again remember to sync your account
