When I include it, I get a bunch of bot views per day for a large number of my items but when it’s turned off, views are only 1-5 per day.
I advertise a lot on pinterest and facebook but was just wondering if keeping the creepy crawler off was limiting my items from being seen.
Tried to find information in the help section but it was very limited.
Thanks in advance for taking the time out of your busy day to answer this post…Mary

The crawler activity is not controlled by you removing it in your items stats, that is just for your information. It is an automatic process that all the search engines do to index information on the web.

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
