I’m new to Bonanza. I decided to import some Ebay items to Bonanza to see if they would sell. I sold something and I was surprised that I did considering that I had let my Ebay listings lapse. Anyway.. One of the items that I imported was listed on Ebay as having no returns. I didn’t think about it when it got imported to Bonanza. The buyer who just purchased my item messages me and tells me that he’s disappointed with the item’s performance and wants to return it. What do I do? What’s my return policy? I thought that the return policy would import from Ebay. How do I specify a return policy on Bonanza?
I want to be fair to the guy, but it sounds like buyer’s remorse. The item works. It’s just not up to his standards because it’s a wireless controller with 15 year old technology.
What should I do?

Thanks for reaching out @xsiveone and sorry to hear about the trouble with your recent sale. If you have return information set on an individual listing on eBay, that information would be imported to your Bonanza listing as well. If you want to set a return policy for your Bonanza booth as a whole, you will need to do that on Bonanza. You can set your booth return policy in your booth settings. Point your mouse over the “My Booth” link in the upper left-hand corner of any page and select “Booth settings” from the drop down. Click on the “Shipping and returns” tab to set your booth return policy (be sure to save your changes). You can also set your return policy on individual listing on the item edit form, just under the description box.
Hope that helps!

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
