Received a paypal payment, where's the order

So I received a payment through PayPal that just states “Purchase from Bonanza” No order number, no item, no shipping address.
Looked at my selling dashboard – no new orders.
Contacted the buyer through their PayPal address – they were indeed purchasing an item I stock, through Bonanza.
Coincidentally this item is nowhere to be found in my booth now, not sold, reserved, or active.

How is any of this possible?? And where do I go from here?

Hi Wanda, Thanks for your reply. I did send a message to support 2 days ago. I am still awaiting a response.

When I get notification of paypal, it will tell the item that was purchased on Bonanza…

As suggested contact bonanza, but if there was payment, you have the money, and you know the item, I would go ahead and print a shipping label from paypal and send it along.

Once long ago this happened to me on bonz, there was a some kind of glitch and I did not receive a sale notification from bonanza. Since I had the item and payment and a notice from paypal, I sent it to the buyer…as suggested by support

and on occasion the notification has been delayed

I tried the contact link before posting, but their phone system is unavailabe. I thought about it, almost shipped. BUT no shipping address = no seller protection. I just refunded the buyer, and let them know they can try to reorder if they wish, just to ensure their shipping information is correct.

I did send a message to Bonanza support. This is just really bizarre to me. Sucks losing a sale, a customer, then a paypal fee on top.. Hopefully it gets fixed. How likely is this customer will reorder, or shop on Bonanza again? Bad rep for sellers and the site :/

This same thing happened to me just a few days ago~~pmt. in pay pal from Bonanza with no information at all. I FINALLY figured it out by going to my seller account here on Bonanza to find out what had been sold. Then it was still a mystery to me as to where to send it. I finally clicked on “print a shipping label” and it gave me the info I needed~~buyers name & address. I did send a message to the buyer confirming the shipping info & she verified it was correct. Bonanza REALLY needs to get this straightened out. Sellers shouldn’t have to put a puzzle together to get the info they need when an item is sold. Since pay pal has no info it’s impossible to print a shipping label from pay pal. It has to be printed through Bonanza IF you can find the info to print one.

I did notice 1 thing about the payment~~the buyer paid for the item with a gift card. Maybe that has to do with why pay pal had no info as to who the buyer was or their shiping info?

I couldnt tell what type of payment method they used – no info in paypal, and no order in bonanza. I also tried printing the shipping label, and no info there either. I emailed the buyer, and apologized that I had to cancel. Shame..

Kattinsanity, you can use the Multi-Order Shipping feature in your PayPal account to create a shipping label for your needs. I use it all the time to send mail to my husband when he is out of town because of the PayPal discount.

If you don’t have a name & address you can’t print a shipping label thru pay pal. It appears the OP didn’t have anything but the buyers email address?
