Pre order / made for order

Hi everyone,

I need advice, I want to add more listing in my shop but gonna offer that as pre order,

I sell weaving/ikat product, ready product which I sell not many but I want offer customer/buyer more variation but need few weeks to make it.

I dont know the selling policy here, is that fine if I put pre order items to sell?

Any advice regarding pre order items, the shipping would be in 3 or 4 weeks? Is there any rule about pre order system here?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Don’t KNOW if there is any rules here on this and I know what you are saying but More Often than NOT, People DO NOT Read the Description fully (Twitter Mentality) and Even if you Spell Out this is custom made and would take weeks to assemble and ship out, PEOPLE have gotten SPOILED by other sites and WANT IT YESTERDAY or Tomorrow and also Free Shipping. You may be opening yourself to problems with this (but this is only my opinion ~ and what do I know anyway.) Good Luck

I think Atomicdiner has a good point. You’ll need to make it really clear up front in the description, and maybe even in the title text also. Make sure you include the pre-shipment time in your handling time on Bonanza. You can set that up in Booth Settings in your seller dashboard, under “Shipping & Returns” (if you want to make a standard pre-shipment time across all your listings). You can also do it in the individual items in the batch editor I believe.
